Atlanta surgeon Jeff G. Tucker M.D.
Background
Dr. Tucker is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and received his Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia in 1985. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1989, and completed his residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia in 1994. His research interest has focused on advanced laparoscopic surgery and techniques, and Dr. Tucker is widely published on this subject both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Tucker is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Southeastern Surgical Association, Atlanta Surgical Society and Georgia Society of General Surgeons. Dr. Tucker completed 14 years of Army Reserve Service by participating Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in 2002.
