Patrick Joseph Kenney, D.O.

Background

Dr. Kenney is a native of Florida but was raised in a Navy family in San Diego, CA. He received his Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Sonoma State University and his Master’s degree in synthetic organic chemistry at San Diego State University. He attended medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, and graduated in 2001.

Part of his surgical training was obtained in the US Army, first at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, and then at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. After leaving the service, Dr. Kenney resumed his surgical training at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center, the largest post-graduate training center in the US. He then completed his training in General Surgery at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA.

Dr. Kenney's extensive surgical training includes advanced laparoscopic surgery, surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, hernia surgery and breast surgery.

Interests include Endocrine surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery and breast cancer surgery. Hobbies are spending time of of doors, cooking for my family and friends, snow boarding, mountain biking and Formula 1 Racing.
